The location is fantastic, directly in the heart of Oaxaca. The breakfast service was disappointing and lacked quality coffee.

Kind, very helpful staff, convenient location just next door to the centre of town right next to the main square with lots of markers, restaurants, and taxi ranks, the cathedral, and markets in the south.

Property was incredibly beautiful, we liked this place.

Charming atmosphere with a view
The hotel's central location in an 18th-century building offered a unique character, complete with charming wall paintings and nooks that added to its charm. The balcony view of the vibrant plaza was fine during evenings.
Despite its charm, the hotel lacked essential guest information, and the restaurant service was unpredictable. Be prepared for noise from the plaza, especially with a late-night band. Staff could be grumpy after hours, too.

Historic Charm with a Central Location
The view from my balcony overlooking the square was fine, especially in the evenings. The breakfast options were quite limited and could use improvement.

I loved staying in this incredibly beautiful hotel based in a historic building. The staff was helpful and accommodating, as for 3-stars property. The beds were lovely, the room was reasonably large for the area-breakfast was n't even included. The location was convenient and perfect for walking around Zocalo Plaza. Btw, went to city center, located at a medium distance from the hotel. The restaurant was good, decent food. The stay was very nice, would recommend.

Charming historical building with wonderful balcony views.
First, communication was a nightmare since most staff spoke little to no English. The restaurant service was chaotic, with unexpected loud music late into the night, disrupting my peace. Upon checkout, I was horrified to discover I was overcharged and had to spend precious time arguing about it, while the staff seemed completely flustered.

The location was great, but the staff seemed wildly unprepared for anything, like providing basic info about breakfast hours. I expected at least a complimentary bottle of wine after all this drama, but i was sorely mistaken. Nearly gave 4 stars, but just couldn't.
